As the saying goes: If the nest is played well, there will be no fewer catches. Especially in the summer, the appetite for fish is not always particularly high. If you want to get more baitfish, you must make a nest, which has a strong ability to attract fish and a long fish retention time.
Today, I will share with you how to properly nest in summer fishing and gather fish for a long time.
1. Exploring the bottom before making a nest
Generally speaking, when you arrive at fishing grounds, especially unfamiliar fishing grounds, after choosing a good fishing spot, you must first explore the bottom before making a nest. Because we sometimes seem to be good fishing spots, but the bottom conditions are not good, and we also don’t keep fish. For example, there are more dark grasses at the bottom of the water. After the bait is in the bottom, the fish are basically invisible, and there is no way to fish. Don’t just throw the nest material down after you get to the fishing spot. This is a waste of nest material and time.
2. Coarse particles make the bottom nest
Increase the size of the nest material. If you use the base material to add particles, you can mix the base material with water and pour the particles in. Add a little water to bond and put it in. Such a nest will keep the fish longer. After the atomized bait is eaten up, the particles are still atomized and will play a role in attracting fish.
The feeding of the nest must be accurate, not one by one, if the nest is big, the fish will be scattered, and if they cannot concentrate, they will not be able to play the role of nesting.
To replenish the nest frequently, the amount should not be too large, just a small handful of pellets at a time. Generally, it can be refilled once after a few fishes, so that the fish can be gathered for a long time.
When preparing the nest material, you can add targeted fishing bait to meet the needs of attracting fish.
Three ways to catch big fish, the first method is the most used
Fishing with corn kernels is environmentally friendly and economical. It is suitable for fishing big fish but not small fish, and it can save the trouble of small miscellaneous fish. It is a practical bait for fishing grass carp, carp, herring, etc. Of course, corn kernels have a low bit rate, which is suitable for recreational fishing, but not for competitive fishing.
After scalding the container with boiling water, put the corn kernels in, add an appropriate amount of honey, a certain amount of moderately pure grain wine, or appropriate flavors and shake well, and it can be used after one day. Corn kernels have a slower nesting speed, which usually takes 2-3 hours. The number of corn kernels should be large because the big fish eat more. Try to concentrate on the corn kernels.
If there are grass carp in the pond, the effect will be very good at noon and afternoon, because grass carp likes hot weather, the weather is the hottest at noon and afternoon, the hotter the weather, the more the grass carp will eat. The bait is made of boiled corn kernels. The hook tip should be pierced from the round edge of the corn kernel and pierced out from the umbilicus, allowing the corn kernels to slide twice on the hook, and then return to the hook tip.
If you use bomb hooks, it is best to grab a mess of food on the bait spring, and then hang the corn kernels on the surrounding hooks, so that the fish attracting effect is good.4. How to keep fresh corn kernels as bait or nest materialSoak the selected tender corn cobs with the outer skin in clean water for 5 minutes. Wrap the soaked corn cobs in a new clean thick food bag and freeze them in the refrigerator. Take them out two hours before fishing and let them thaw naturally. In addition, use a clean and odorless food bag to pack it for later use.
Don’t tear off the outer skin when fishing. Don’t waste it if you don’t use it up. You can continue to refrigerate it for your next use.
